This event is planned for our actuarial science majors who will be seeking an internship for Summer 2013. It is important to us that you have adequate time to make arrangements to attend this event. Please complete your registration no later than Thursday, November 9, 2012. The details are as follows:

Career Reception Shipping Instructions
Parking: Available at the Liacouras Center Parking Garage. Please enter the parking garage on 15th Street via Mongtomery Avenue. The cost for parking is $14 (cash only).
One week before the event, your company will be provided with an electronic copy of the resume book for actuarial intern candidates on the day of the reception. On the day of the event your company will receive the resume book on cd. This book will include the resumes of over 100 of our actuarial science majors who will be looking for summer internships in Summer 2013. In order to participate in our Actuarial Intern Career Reception, you will need to become a platinum ($600) sponsor of our resume book. (This is the registration fee as well).
In order to better serve the needs of the industry and our students, Gamma Iota Sigma will be hosting three career receptions in 2012-2013. The career reception being held on October 18, 2012 will focus only on our December 2012 and May 2013 graduating seniors in risk management, insurance and actuarial science only (students seeking summer internships will not attend this career reception – only graduating seniors). On November 15, 2012, we will have our Actuarial Intern Career Reception for actuarial science majors seeking internships in Summer 2013. Our Risk Management and Insurance Intern Career Reception for risk management and insurance majors seeking internships in Summer 2013 will be held in early March 2013. More information on these events will be provided to you as it becomes available.
