Christina worked at Subaru of America, Inc. in Cherry Hill, NJ.  During her internship she assisted all members of the risk management department.  Some of the daily tasks Christina performed were assisting with the marketing activities for insurance products to Subaru customers and dealers.  She also spent some time calculating insurance charges to help with the compilation of underwriting data for insurance renewals.  Additionally, Christina was involved in monitoring safety messages to regions or employees and track safety incentive program for regional warehouses.  Once aspect of the internship that was particularly interesting was assisting with the administration, design, and implementation of loss control programs.  Having gone through her RMI classes, Christina felt she was able to contribute in a positive way when she sat in on policy renewal meetings.

She was put in charge of organizing an event with marketing and Street Safe driving school to be held at headquarters for employee’s children. The company atmosphere was very enjoyable as she was lucky to meet the interns of the other departments while working at events held by the marketing team and became good friends with them. Christina liked the responsibility that was given to her and was never treated like just an intern. Her opinion was always valued, and her contributions were taken seriously. In all, Christina would recommend this company to other students.
