Leah worked in National Brokerage (Middle Market) on the Distribution side with Marsh this summer.  Her daily activities included preparing a lot of internal reference documents, such as premium audit comparisons and renewal strategy meeting graphs and maps, as well as various documents for clients, such as summaries of insurance, schedules of insurance, and endorsement letters.  She also attended several client meeting and underwriter meetings.  He RMI classes gave her a firm understanding of most of the terminology used during her internship, and she was able to pick up on tasks more easily because she understood the policies and documents.

Leah worked with three other interns in different Marsh offices around the country managing regulatory changes in the insurance industry, more specifically public policy on privacy and social media.  She also helped her mentor compile data for the Global Railroad accounts.  This work appealed to Leah because she was not necessarily treated as an intern, but more like a regular employee.  She was always given work than was challenging.  Because of this, Leah would recommend Marsh to other students.
