Mark worked very closely with the Claims and Administration Manager and the Global Director of Safety & Enterprise Risk Management this past summer at Keystone Foods. Those his daily tasks varied, he handled a lot of product liability claims, safety audits, and communicated with brokers about different policies.  Mark also created reports that were used in meeting and presentations for his department.  He worked with a number of computer systems that enabled the company to report claims or audits on a company-wide basis.  His RMI classes prepared Mark for this position as he was able to keep up with conversation because he understood the insurance jargon and the different types of insurance.

The company culture made the internship a great experience for Mark.  The employees of Keystone Foods were very friendly, making his time spent there especially enjoyable.  At one point, his co-workers trusted Mark to put together the presentation for their meetings at one of their distribution. Working with the Risk Management Department exposed him to a variety of subjects.  He also appreciated some of the additional benefits of the job, such as the onsite gym and the frozen products produced by Keystone Foods that they were given.  Mark would not change his experience and would recommend the company to future intern candidates.
