Matthew worked for Conner Strong and Buckelew this summer. His daily tasks consisted of contacting carriers for claim statuses on a daily basis, doing special projects with consultants, and attending a few client and carrier meetings.

Matthew’s RMI classes provided him the knowledge about terminology and claim identification process and filing.

He spent two weeks with 6 different claim consultants.The most important task was calling carriers who handled clients WC coverage to find out their specific unit statistical filing processes.

Some perks of the summer included having lunch with clients and consultants frequently, going out for happy hours, attending company softball games, and participating a scavenger hunt for interns.

Matthew enjoyed the stability of a full time job and work tasks.   Overall he found his experience extremely educational and would recommend the company to other students.
