This past summer, Sam interned with NHS Human Services, assisting the Benefits Manager with daily tasks. These tasks included inputting employee’s benefits information, contacting employees to request additional information, answering questions employees had about their benefits, working with HR representatives to solve issues that employees had, and making benefit “trees’ in the company’s system.  He found his RMI courses to be very helpful to this position, especially when answering questions that employees had about the different benefits offered and about health reform concerns.

Sam found everyone at NHS Human Service to be very helpful and willing to help whenever he had any questions.  He was treated as a regular employee and took on some responsibility.  He found the environment to be very relaxed which made him feel very comfortable.  Sam would recommend this company to future internship candidates.
