Jane Elizabeth Lamb received her J.D. from Temple University School of Law and her A.B. in History from Bryn Mawr College. She currently serves as the Director of Risk Management for Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW), the nation’s largest municipally owned gas utility. With dual roles as a quasi-governmental entity and a regulated utility, PGW faces a myriad of workers' compensation, labor, and employment issues. Previously, Ms. Lamb served as counsel to the City of Philadelphia’s Risk Management Division, first litigating cases, and then managing the City’s Employee Disability Program.

Ms. Lamb has long been active in the workers’ compensation community. Since 2008, she has served on the Board of the Pennsylvania Self Insurers Association. She speaks regularly at professional conferences; she has presented Employers’ Wave of the Future: Company Wellness Programs at the PSIA Annual Meeting in 2013 and Employers Unplugged: Make Those 90 Days Count at the 12th Annual Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Conference. Additionally, she is active in the utility industry, serving as chair of the American Gas Association Risk Management Committee Annual Meeting in 2013. In 2014, she was an instructor for a CLE and roundtable entitled Ethics in 2014: Across the Board for AEGIS, the premier energy industry insurance mutual. She will be speaking at Philly I-Day this year on Workers' Compensation: What is Modified Duty and How is a Program Created?
